Description
Offered for sale is 1 (one) Fire King Jade-ite Restaurant ware Saucer. Although the first 2 pictures show many that are available, you are getting 1 (one) Saucer. You may purchase as many as you like with this back stamp. At the time of this writing, I have 192 available for sale with this back stamp. The back stamp is Anchor Hocking Fire King Ware, Made in USA. Take a look at my store. I do ship Internationally. There are NO chips, dings, or scratch marks on any of these saucers as they are NOS, (New Old Stock). I was even able to rescue some of the original papers that they were packed in from the factory. I got a call to go to a warehouse where the owner was cleaning out and came across boxes and boxes of original Fire King items all in their original boxes. These saucers were taken directly from the original boxes. This is vintage Fire King that has never been used. Buy with confidence as you will not be disappointed. None of what I sell is reproductions.
All shipping is done at actual cost. I do not inflate the shipping cost to make more money OR add a handling fee. I use plenty of bubble wrap and peanuts at my cost to ensure a safe arrival. The shipping calculator may be a little high. If so,l you WILL receive a refund on the shipping cost after your package has been prepared and weighed for shipping. If you will be in central PA, you can always stop by and pick up in person.
If you are looking for something you don't see listed yet, let me know as I probably have it in stock.
ABOUT DAVIDSDISHES…..
Below is a peek into the operations of Davidsdishes and answers to frequently asked questions. All questions are answered as soon as possible. My e-Bay listings are a tribute to my very good friends Barbara and Jim Mauzy. Their inspiration and encouragement is what created my business. Thanks to both of you!!!!!!
History:
I have been buying and selling glass and china dinnerware, as well as kitchen related items for 20 years. Early in my adventures I had the opportunity to meet Barbara and Jim Mauzy. Their enthusiasm for vintage glassware and kitchen collectibles quickly spread to me and I eventually helped them buy and sell at their main shop in Adamstown, PA. Barbara and Jim are also authors of many collector books based on vintage kitchens of the 1920’s to the 1960’s. If you see something in one of their books it is something that I actively try to keep in stock. The Mauzy’s have slowed their pace but are still very active in kitchen related items and pricing. Their book titles include:
Mauzy’s Rare, Unique, & Unusual Depression Glass
McKee Kitchen glass of the Depression Years
Kitchen Treasures
Gay & Gifty Pot Holders

Inventory:
All items pictured in my listings are available for sale. If you see something in a group photo or one of the Mauzy’s books but don’t see a listing for it, please write. I probably have it or can get it. I can also e-mail a list of items that are available in your pattern. If it appeared in one of the Mauzy books it is something that I actively try to keep in stock. I currently have an inventory of more than 40,000 items. All items are listed and described as accurately as possible. I try to use many pictures to show the item you are buying as well as detailed descriptions. I guarantee all items to be vintage and free from any damage and wear unless noted in the description. If you need further assistance or need more detail on an item feel free to write.
Quality:
Every item in my extensive inventory is carefully inspected for signs of damage such as chips, cracks, and heavy wear. I personally inspect every item and grade it according to standards that the Mauzy’s have taught me. Straw marks or extra glass on an item is considered normal. Most of the items I handle were made in the 1920’s to the 1960’s and were sold in 5 and 10 cent stores, and quality control was not a huge factor in those days. When you purchase something from me you can feel 100% comfortable with the quality of the item you are getting. If there is even the slightest hint of damage or wear I will disclose this at the time of the sale. In the event you get something that you don’t care for I will gladly send another item or refund your money (minus shipping) once I receive the item back in the mail with my sticker attached. It is my intention to exceed your expectations in every transaction.
2
nd
quality items:
I do stock a very limited supply of what I call 2
nd
quality items. These items are not chipped or damaged, but show slight signs of use or wear. If you have a dinner table for the children and don’t want to use the “good china”, this may be a great alternative for you. Again, your satisfaction is guaranteed.
Pricing:
My pricing is based on guides provided by the Mauzy’s as well as current market trends. If you see something in a Mauzy book, it is something I stock and will keep my price close to their stated values.
Payment:
Payment is
expected within 3 days of purchasing an item. I will ship most items within 2 days or less of receiving a cleared payment. I only accept Paypal. In the event I have overcharged on shipping fees, any difference will be refunded.
Taxes:
As per state law, all PA residents are required to pay 6% sales tax unless a valid tax exemption is supplied
Packing and Shipping:
All items that I sell are inspected for the final time and washed before they are labeled and packed for shipping. All packing is done in a clean, smoke free environment. Each item is carefully wrapped in adequate amounts of bubble wrap and peanuts to insure a safe arrival. In the event you receive something that is damaged due to shipping, please keep the box and packing materials and notify me at once. Multiple purchases will be combined whenever possible to save on shipping costs. I do not make a profit on shipping charges. All shipping costs are at face value. You pay what I pay.
Layaway:
Most purchases are eligible for layaway. If you win one or more auctions you may make payments on the total amount due. This is a free service that I offer to customers without any hidden charges or fees. However, if during the course of a layaway you should decide not to continue making payments, all monies paid except the first payment will be refunded. This will cover the cost of listing the auction and restocking. For more information on this offer, please write to me.
Payments can be made by PayPal and personal check.
(Payments made by Paypal are credited for the
net amount
.)
Returns:
Your satisfaction is very important to me. I understand that seeing and reading about an item on the internet is never quite the same as being able to examine the item in person. I offer a 14 day return policy so you will be confident that you are dealing with a reputable dealer. If you should have to return an item, return shipping is your responsibility and all returned items must retain the identification sticker that was applied prior to packaging. You may choose to get a refund or I can replace the item with an identical one if one is available.
Feedback:
It is my intention to provide above average service in every aspect of this transaction. Please let me know when your item(s) arrives and don't forget to leave 5 star feed back. If for some reason you feel you cannot leave perfect feed back, please contact me so I can attempt to make things right. I strive for 100% satisfaction.
Wedding, Bridal, Birthday, and Anniversary registry:
If you have a special event planned and don’t know what to get the person who has everything, a registry may be for you. The special person(s) can pick items from stock and allow friends and relatives to purchase these for them. Items can be shipped separately or in a bulk package. Nothing you can dream up is impossible. It can range from a single purchase to hundreds of items. Your complete satisfaction is guaranteed.
Back stamps:
If your pattern of dinnerware comes with different back stamps, I am willing to try and match these for you. Dinnerware such as Franciscan offered many markings over the years and I will do my best to complete your purchase with the back stamp of your vintage.
Want lists:
If you have a “want list” of items please feel free to submit that list to me. I keep these wants, and when your desired item becomes available, the item is offered to customers that submitted requests first. Just because you submitted a want list does not obligate you to purchase the item. It is merely offered to you first.
Purchasing Inventory:
I am always interested in purchasing inventory that you may have for sale. Pricing is based on the demand for the item or items you have for sale. If you are interested in selling items, feel free to submit your list of items for a quote. I am only interested in purchasing items that are flawless.
Books by Mauzy:
If you are interested in purchasing any of the Mauzy books that are in publication, you can order them by contacting me. Books can be personally signed by the Mauzy’s for any gift giving occasion.
e-Bay purchases:
Any and all sales that are directly linked to e-Bay must comply with all e-Bay regulations. E-Bay is a wonderful way to advertise but if you find me on e-Bay and buy from me, e-Bay has the right to the sale.
